Field recordings of the subconscious contained within a drama of listening. Roll tape to find thoughts morphing into aural figures in storms on clear nights. Personified skies and laughing walls swell mystic cantatas — music of a cosmic agency. Death in the diamond lemon baseball, the crowd holds their breath at the first pitch going nowhere. A player speaks [aside] holding a skull but doesn’t know why. Poisons red lips for the Duke to kiss into disintegration on the summit of Mount Délire. “Thanks to loud music!” the Duke brooks no more. Fading-fading-what-is-around-me-what-is-in-my-head? I too stop at the ridge and mysteries float on stillness in pixels and the audience evolves before my eyes into a gathering of spells like froth molds to cheese. And glass stuck in some foot in the mouth, permeates quand même fiction on the boardwalk. She wore a hat until she heard the source. The however endless fuzzing mirrors stacked to the brim where time goes beyond comprehension — off view off canvas off everything. O camera become. Become voice and materialize out of the operatic cup of the play. Vanishing and Mise are dripping on the way home from the ocean, heading to the fissures of cheap neon paint, drying in the lunar atoms that percolate between layers of vibrato as they walk.

Hang Ten is an exhibition comprised of installations by eight artist-run galleries. Beverly’s, Gern en Regalia, Good Naked, International Waters, Love, Project Art Distribution, The Catskills, and Walter Elwood Contemporary will all present work over Labor Day Weekend. Good Naked works will be on view through September 6th at Rockaway Beach and by appointment at the gallery thereafter.
