Good Naked (Brooklyn NY) is stoked to present its sixth exhibition Night Swim with a virtual opening May 29 from 8-9pm at http://www.goodnakedgallery.live.

The works in this exhibition set the stage for darkness and delight.  Their tone speaks aptly to the sobering nature of our current moment.  Pointing to absence and still calling for human presence, day for night forms stream in and out of frame, turning our sense of space and gravity on its head.  Figures push up against nature and concrete shapes as illusions of depth and time are built and broken.
Pleasure seeking and infinite stillness give way to truncated potentials and renegotiated perspectives.  Entry/access points appear and disappear.  Viewers are both lost and found.  These works mourn for human contact yet reside patiently in their openness and solitude.  They wait out time and space and ponder future states.  There is fearful solace in the unknown if we seek it and these artworks invite us to join them in their private moments of self-discovery.

The exhibition is on view by appointment only.  For more information (including exact location) and images, please contact info@goodnakedgallery.com.
